Today’s NHL rumors on the Blackhawks, Penguins, Rangers, Devils and more:

NJ.com reports the New Jersey Devils tried to trade two 2nd-round picks to move into the first round of the draft but was unsuccessful.

Chicago Sun-Times reports Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Sharp is still generating interest from the Pittsburgh Penguins, Montreal Canadiens and Washington Capitals. The Blackhawks’ asking price for Sharp was initially a first-round pick, a defenseman and a prospect.

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review links the Pittsburgh Penguins to Patrick Sharp, Phil Kessel, Jeff Skinner, T.J. Oshie and Rangers’ pending UFA Martin St. Louis.

Star-Tribune reports the Minnesota Wild hope to get Devan Dubnyk and Mikael Granlund signed by today.

TSN reports the Wild are close to signing Dubnyk to a six year deal worth more than $4-million per year.

ESPN reports the Dallas Stars are still interested in Rangers Cam Talbot but have reached out and considered other goalie options.

Sun-Sentinel reports the Florida Panthers are the frontrunners to land Cam Talbot.

New York Post reports the Calgary Flames still have serious interest in Cam Talbot, while noting the Stars and Sharks also remain interested.

Edmonton Journal reported yesterday that St. Louis Blues defenceman Kevin Shattenkirk may be available.

NBC Sports claims Ryan O’Reilly had asked for an 8 year deal reportedly worth $64-million from the Colorado Avalanche before being traded yesterday.
