The Los Angeles Kings come out in victorious fashion as they end a horrible four-game road trip through the southwest. Hockey in the southwest…insert jokes here. And before you go on about LA having a hockey team, remember this! The Kings were a part of the 1967 expansion double the league from the Original Six. So here we are. The 2013-14 NHL season is upon us and all things lockout and CBA are in the past. The shortened 2013 season may have tarnished our memories but it was still one heck of a ride. But now it is time to look forward to a new beginning, The 2013-14 Season.
With the new arrivals of many new players in Dallas, the Stars had to get working on some new jerseys and numbers, so they released some recent changes on their website. Shawn Horcoff will take #10, #17 will go to Rich Peverley, Dan Ellis snags #30, Nichushkin steals #43 from Jamie Oleksiak, Gonchar takes #55, and Seguin will be wearing #91. (more…)
