Sochi Thoughts: USA Hockey Can Close The Gap


After the dust has settled from Sochi, its important to recognize, even as an American, how dominant the Canadian machine was. They powered through the tournament playing a style of hockey that we are used to seeing in North America. Even on a wider ice surface the Canadians were able to shut teams down by dumping the puck deep, winning battles along the boards, and out matching other teams physically. (more…)
