Who should be the next captain of the Ottawa Senators?

It seems like it’s going to be a new era for the Ottawa Senators with so many veteran players gone. Hopefully  the new era comes with a Stanley Cup. First it was Dany Heatley who requested a trade back in 2009 because  he wasn’t getting enough playing time under young coach Cory Clouston. He frustrated fans of both the  Senators and the Edmonton Oilers when he wouldn’t simply waive his no trade clause. Instead he wanted to  go to the San Jose Sharks, which cost the Senators $4.5 million to get rid of the no trade clause. (more…)
