Is it too little, too late for the Colorado Avalanche?

As the Colorado Avalanche venture through the second half of the 2014-2015 season, their playoff hopes continue to diminish. The Colorado Avalanche came into this season with a chip on their shoulder; a chip that no longer exists. They also share one other common characteristic among them. They were all number one picks overall in their respective draft years in the NHL. There seems to be another player striving to add his name to this exclusive list, and he has been turning heads and raising eyebrows along the way. (more…)
